Complete Rebuild: The Daffodil Festival

The Daffodil Festival is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Serving Pierce County, Washington through a series of Festival Events and a Royalty Leadership Program, where each member is declared as Official Ambassadors of Pierce County.

In 2022, I collaborated with Ron the Web Guy on a complete rebuild and overhaul of the existing Daffodil Festival Wordpress website. We utilized the Astra theme and Beaver Builder to accomplish a modern and user-friendly site yielding dozens of pages, posts, and integrations for the 90-year-old festival and boost its ease of use and relevance for community members who care to support or donate to its programs.

A Dreamer’s Search (Indy Short Film) | Downstream Films (Eric Downs - Filmmaker)

Two sites in one project! A Dreamer’s Search is a short film debuted by Alaskan Filmmaker Eric Downs, featuring Artist Rockwell Kent’s short-yet-monumental time in Resurrection Bay, Seward, Alaska in the early 1900s:

”When a determined artist’s career is jeopardized, he leaves everything behind and journeys to a remote island in Alaska. He must fight against the rugged environment and battle his demons to find peace in solitude and create the art that will forever change his life.”

These sites were revamped with a sleek one-page navigable film information site on Wordpress, along with a modern site about Downstream Films & Eric himself.

Kylie the Historian (KLM Wyoming Historian)

I was approached in 2021 by Kylie Louise McCormick - a Wyoming Historian who was establishing her personal brand and needing a centralized way to feature her presentation circuit, which grew both in and out of the pandemic years.

We took what was once her blog and converted it into a one-stop Wordpress site (Elementor builder), encompassing all presentation information, CV, features, videos, a calendar/schedule, and contact tools for ease of booking - still leaving room for blog posts and articles that Kylie produced for the public eye.

We also revamped her jackalope logo, developing an overall brand, created an informational flyer on her presentation offerings, and imported several templates into Canva for her team to utilize on social media.
